TESTIMONIALS

I can't believe four years are over, how time moves! They were a great 4 years I must say. Joy has grown and matured in many ways. She's confident and is not afraid to speak out or ask questions, outgoing and makes friends easily. That's one unique thing with Madari children; they have this confidence that's just refreshing. You should see them together chatting away like grown ups in little bodies, and of course not forgetting to say 'please' and 'thank you'. Joy is the 'politeness prefect' at home and she'll be sure to remind anyone who's forgotten to say the "magic word".

Whenever Joy is unwell, she still asks to go school. During the holidays she begins a count down to open day as soon as the week begins. Madari puts the fun in learning which is why Joy would gladly attend school throughout the year. It's a pleasant place to be. She has stories to tell about her classmates, teachers and even knows the names of new children joining Madari, who had birthday, who's been away for a while or what the tortoise was upto that day.

Madari has helped nurture Joy's creativity and natural talent. She especially likes to draw and I'm not talking stick people! I've watched her drawings improve over time and I can only attribute it to the space provided at Madari. Joy loves to recite the poems (I particularly like the "trees are the kindest things I know") and hum songs they learn in class and has recently taught me to play few notes on the recorder! It was such a fun lesson. She had to help me place my fingers right most of the time. I just couldn't catch on as well, but she was patient. She was role playing from her lessons at school and watching her through the motions, I remember thinking "what a confident little person". I am glad to say I can now include recorder onto my list of musical instruments, never mind that I can play about 4 notes only!

Attending Madari has given Joy the foundation she needs to get on to the next level of education and I am confident she'll do well in the future. I am glad we chose Madari.

At Madari, each child is truly special. Thank you Mrs. Ndesandjo and staff of Madari.

Mama Joy Mumo.
